PADI IDC Instructor Development

Our PADI IDC Instructor Development Course Malaysia is the core of PADI SCUBA Instructor training.

PADI Instructor Development Course IDC in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

The IDC Asia builds on the diving skills and knowledge of you, the qualified PADI Divemaster, developing you into a teacher of the PADI System of Diver Education to SCUBA diving students in the classroom, confined and open water environments.

Not a PADI Divemaster yet? Let’s take care of that.

Our Borneo IDC instructor training course includes the PADI Assistant Instructor Course (AI), PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) course and the Emergency First Response Instructor Course (EFRI) and, in its shortest form, takes place over 10 days.

We do recommend one of our GoPro Internships in Malaysia however, as the added time will open up the world of our busy PADI 5-Star IDC Dive Centre to you.

During and internship you have ample opportunity to gain much real world experience, which will enhance your instructor development.

Either way, the PADI Instructor Development Course focusses on your further development alongside other dive instructor candidates with the same goal.

Working as a team is beneficial for aspiring SCUBA Instructors, not just because of the teamwork, but also because of the added opportunity to learn more and in different ways during the instructor training course.

And because of that IDC camaraderie, you will make friends for life during your Malaysia PADI IDC.

Our resident PADI Course Director, along with Downbelow’s PADI IDC GoPro Team, will guide you every step of the PADI IDC way to aid your development as an instructor.
