Recently Qualified Instructor Interns Gains Experience in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Victorley takes charge and teach the Emergency First Response course to the students

Victorley, wearing the red shirt in the picture above, recently graduated as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor with Downbelow.

He is one of the talented members of our successful Local Internship Program and have been with us now almost a year.

For local and international interns alike, the beauty of a Downbelow internship is all the possibilities for experience that exist, and hands-on experience is exactly what Victorley got when took on the EFR course for the big group from Sandakan that we hosted recently.

Under the watch of his much more experienced colleagues, Victorley lead the course and put into practice all the knowledge he gained and was successfully tested on during the Instructor Exam.

The more times he does it, the more experience he will get, until – like the rest of Downbelow’s staff – it’s second nature.

For our international interns the benefits are towards future employment.  Experience always look better on resumes as it requires less time and resources for new employers to you up and running and increases your employability.

So if you’re thinking about going pro – look no further than Downbelow.

Get in touch and let’s talk about how we can help you live the diving dream.
