IDC Candidates Involved Again in Net Removal

This is probably is a new record for us although we are not happy about it. The Downbelow team of staff and pro interns removed yet another illegal fishing net found within our beloved Tunku Abdul Rahman Park.

This is the third net removal within the last 30 days and that is indeed a worrying figure.

No matter how many illegal nets that we might encounter, we will keep on removing them soon as we encounter them. Our dedication to the protection of the ocean and its marine life runs high at Downbelow !

However we won’t be able to do it alone so a round of applause to our pro interns including our PADI IDC & DM candidates who dedicated their time and energy in all three removals.

Great job everyone.
