Local Interns Take PADI Aware Coral Reef Conservation Speciality

Local Divemaster Interns enjoy the presentation of the PADI Aware Coral Reef Conservation Specaility CourseOur local Divemaster interns are constantly learning new things and last weekend was the turn of Coral Reef Conservation.

PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor Bob and our resident PADI Course Director Richard presented the PADI Speciality Course to the intrepid interns.

The PADI Aware Coral Reef Conservation Speciality is one of an exciting range that the Downbelow PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre conducts on Gaya island in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

This course deals with the life and times of coral reef systems, how fragile they are and what we, as divers, can do to preserve and protect the reefs.

Because there is no diving required for this speciality, the course would be of interest to both divers and snorkelers who will gain useful knowledge about reefs that will enhance their ocean experience.
