Intern Help with 27 DSDs from Sandakan Polytechnic

A group of 27 students from Sandakan Polytechnic invaded our PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre earlier this week.

Doing a study-tour of Kota Kinabalu, the group was discovering the tourist attractions on this side of Sabah and decided to have a look at treasures that are ocean deep.

Having never dived before, they opted to do the Discover Scuba Diving course, which allows totally new divers to dive the same day… under close supervision of a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, of course.

Our resident PADI Course Director Richard Swann supervised the mission, and our instructors stepped up to the plate.

Also helping out was our professional scuba intern Joe, who is ever eager to gain more experience for his PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating.
