Enjoying the Perks of Divemaster Training in Kota Kinabalu

Takeshi developing his people skills - it's all part and parcel of being a DivemasterThere’s no question that our professional diving internships here on Gaya Island in Kota Kinabalu is hard work, but it’s all about balance, as our intrepid Divemaster Intern Takeshi (2nd from the right) discovers…

Takeshi joined us here in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah last month for his professional Divemaster internship. It’s hard work and there’s lots to learn.

The perks of a internship is all the extra time that you get to spend on development though, and part of being a good Divemaster is the people skills.

At our busy 5 Star PADI IDC dive centre, with its diverse clientele, there’s ample time for developing this skill too.

Takeshi, in between racking up dives with the unlimited diving that all our interns enjoy, also managed a bit of balance, chatting with dive guests.

Leading up to our next IDC taking place in September, our internships are getting quite busy, so stay tuned, or join us, and come along for the ride.
