Divemaster Intern Nigel Assists on Instructor Bob’s Rescue Course

Last week Divemaster Intern Nigel assisted PADI Instructor Bob when he conducted a PADI Rescue Course for some of our clients.

The truth, however, is that although our interns get plenty of opportunity for hands on experience, they are always either assisting or shadowing our full time staff, who are ultimately in charge of our guests.

We are proud of the fact that we can enforce a ratio of no greater than 4 divers to 1 instructor.

To accomplish this our PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya island employs a sizable permanent staff of fully qualified PADI professionals OWSI and higher.

Nigel is progressing well through his internship and is well on his way to starting his diving career as a PADI professional.
