Local Interns join MSD Challenger for PADI Rescue Diver Course

Yesterday our local interns Jerry and Victor joined Downbelow’s Master Scuba Diver Challenger Rizal, for the start of the PADI Rescue Diver Course.

Victor, Rizal and Jerry doing the PADI Rescue Diver Course under PADI MSDT WellsonFor Jerry and Victor the Rescue Diver Course is the next rung on the ladder of their professional scuba diving internship, which they are climbing with the eye on reaching the PADI Divemaster qualification.

For Rizal, our guest from west Malaysia, it’s also an important step, but his immediate goal is to rise to the PADI Master Scuba Diver Challenge.

Rizal joined us on 22 October and will, over the next 7 days, ad a slew of diver certifications to his diving resume.

Under our resident PADI Course Director Richard Swann and his instructor team, Rizal will do the following courses: Emergency First Responder (EFR), PADI Rescue Diver and the Emergency O² Provider, Wreck Diver, Deep Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy and AWARE Coral Reef Conservation Speciality courses.

Once he completes this impressive list of qualifications, he will have the required experience, which combined with his existing ratings, will earn him the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating – the highest rating in recreational diving.

Looks like a good reason to take up one of Downbelow’s professional internships and join the next IDC, doesn’t it Rizal?
