Full House for Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia’s September PADI IDC

Resident PADI Course Director Richard Swann welcomed 3 more PADI IDC candidates this week, brining our total tally of Instructor Development Course candidates to 7.

From the UK we have Sam and from Belguim we have Nena and Wouter, contributing to another one of our wonderfully international IDCs.

We are now just 1 attendee short of 8, which means the September IDC will be quite happening this time around in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.

Luckily Downbelow’s Go Pro team is well staffed, with sufficient numbers to ensure that each IDC candidate receives the attention they need to successfully become PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors.

Richard, as our resident PADI Course Director and MD, heads up Downbelow’s dive operations and leads the Go Pro team consisting of a PADI Master Instructor and 3 PADI IDC Staff Instructors.

Downbelow practices team teaching to ensure that each IDC candidate is exposed to a variety of teaching and learning methods and get to benefit from a wide range of experiences from seasoned professional scuba divers.

There is still 3 and half weeks to go until the start of the September Instructor Development Course, so candidates have ample time to prepare, learn and absorb as much skills practice as they like.

Downbelow’s professional interns also benefit from unlimited scuba diving during their internship, which is great for whenever there are skills to refine or procedures to practice, or even just a need for a fun dive or two to clear the mind (or see passing whale sharks).

As the September IDC looms closer, the November IDC is being offered for future professional scuba diving wanting to qualify from 8 – 21 November and is open for bookings now.

So don’t delay. Get in touch with us and let’s talk about the best way for you to Go Pro with Downbelow.
