Snorkeling activities requires as much supervision as diving!

Some dive professionals have the opinion that snorkeling requires even more supervision than scuba diving!

Because the water surface is more open to natural elements, such as wind and rain, this causes professional guides to use more conservative guidelines and continuously perform safety assessments.

Our Go PRO team is frequently questioned by our Go PRO internship candidates on the value of their knowledge development within the PADI Divemaster course. Correlating the dive theory with their practical assessments and workshops will motivate a genuine interest to retain the information.

For instance, a dive professional candidate knowing that waves break when its height is 1.3 times the depth of the water will know to avoid very shallow areas for snorkeling when the weather turns!

Where we conduct our leisure dive and snorkel activities in the protected Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, depending on the wind direction, some sites will be hazardous due to its exposed location and other sites are sheltered. Go PRO interns will always be supervising our clients under the direction of a PADI professional who will offer their own experiences and expertise of the local area.

Get in touch with a member of staff at our Head Office for an internship program to suit your Go PRO needs, and our team will show you how to live the diving dream in Borneo!
