Thousands of dives later, this BCD is retired in Borneo

After 13 years of diving together in all corners of the earth’s ocean, in temperatures from 4 to 40 degrees and seeing some incredible sights, it is now time for Downbelow PADI Platinum Course Director Richard Swann’s Vector 1000 Mares BCD to retire.

Even though this classic model went out of production 10 years ago but amazingly he found an almost identical replacement in great condition, so Richard and his new equipment partner are all ready for the next decade.

For interns who are just jumping into the professional world of diving, you will soon find out as your experience grow, so will your preferences of equipments used underwater.
