After an exciting and marvellous 2 weeks stay at our PADI 5-Star IDC Dive Centre, it was time to say goodbye to the students from the Cardiff University.

The students were here to learn how to gather information from the ocean and also learn scuba diving skills which they will obviously need later on in their careers as marine scientists.

Apart from learning underwater buoyancy and how to gather information, other highlights from their stay must surely be meeting with a turtle, a rare porcupine stingray which landed on their transect and also participated in the conservation act of removing an illegally dumped fishing net in our beloved Tunku Abdul Rahman Park.

For Downbelow’s team of GoPro instructors, sharing our knowledge to a wide range of guests really makes our job fun and exciting. From leisure divers on vacation, TV producers, underwater photographers, families, groups of friends and colleagues, army and students – we always get to meet interesting and fun-loving people.

Indeed the scuba diving industry is thriving so there is a big demand for dive instructors. If you are thinking of living the diving dream with adventures replacing the paperwork, then it’s time to work on that dream.

Contact us today and enroll in our PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) which will qualify you as a certified and qualified professional dive instructor. You will not regret it. We didn’t!
