Real-world Experience for Qualified Professional Scuba Interns

One of our recently qualified Instructors, Nena, guiding her students through their Open Water Course

Our recently qualified PADI Instructors are reaping the benefits of their Downbelow professional scuba diving internship – they are getting real-world, hands-on experience in Sabah, Borneo.

A handful of the professional interns who took part in our hugely successful September IDC is still on the island completing their internships.

Downbelow’s professional internships can be started at any time around an IDC, with benefits either way, depending on your goals.

For our remaining interns, the benefit of staying on after the IDC is getting real-world experience as qualified instructors.

Under the watchful eye of resident PADI Course Director Richard Swann, they are applying their qualifications to real guests with high levels of quality and safety being enforced.

This, of course, will go straight onto their resumes, which means that when they leave Downbelow, they will have their first experiences as dive instructors under their (weight) belts already.

Our next IDC is in November, so for those wanting pre and post IDC experience, now is a great time to sign up for our professional internship.

Get in touch with us and let’s talk about your most beneficial options when you choose to Go Pro with Downbelow.
