PADI Instructor Exam in Kota Kinabalu – Day 1 Success

This morning Downbelow's IDC candidates were ready for the Instructor Exam

Our Instructor Development Course finished up last night, leaving the candidates as developed as they can be before the start of today’s big PADI Instructor Exam.

The big smiles and confidence beaming from the candidates hid any nervousness if they had any. Between the the candidates, the IDC Staff Instructors or resident PADI Course Director Richard Swann, nobody blinked.

The PADI Examiner, Robert Scammell, welcomed the candidates and put them through the IE orientation, before they all got down to business.

Downbelow’s freshly-minted IDC Staff Instructors, Ollie and Sam, sat in on the Instructor Exam to gain more valuable experience.

After a not-too-long day of exams, Downbelow’s candidates started to emerge the one after the other, each with a smile bigger than the first.

After day one of Kota Kinabalu’s PADI Instructor Examination, Downbelow’s candidates have all passed.

The exam continues tomorrow when our candidates take to the water to prove that their skills are as sharp in the water as it is out.

Good luck everyone!
