Interns in Kota Kinabalu take on the PADI Rescue Diver Course

Soon-to-be Divemaster Interns kicking things off with their PADI Rescue Diver course

Downbelow’s internship program will soon see a flurry of new activity when we have a bunch of Divemaster interns sign up to take the step to professional diving.

First, however, the entry requirements need to be met, and for that the soon-to-be-interns need qualify as PADI Rescue Divers. Our own PADI IDC Staff Instructor James, was on there to oversee this progression.

On this particular day or would-be interns were joined by a 2 other PASI Rescue Diver students who were visiting our PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya island as part a school trip. They are Tourism Management students.

Needless to say, it was the start of lots of fun and all the participants had great time assimilating the knowledge and learning new skills.

To the water, I say!
