Interns Finish off with Emergency First Response Instructor Training

After successfully completing the custom IDC that Downbelow presented for Matt and Kyla, they stayed on for 1 final qualification.

When it comes to Emergency First Response (EFR) courses, Downbelow offers 2 levels of instruction.

Richard is transferring knowledge to his 3 EFR Instructor students at Downbelow's PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya IslandWe can teach EFR provider to anybody, preparing them for first responder care in most emergency situations.

We also teach EFR instructors, who can then train EFR providers.

Under resident PADI Course Director Richard Swann, an EFR Instructor Trainer, Kyla, Matt and Sam joined for the 2nd level of EFR to become EFR Instructors.

Demonstrating the required skills, knowledge and insight into the relevant processes, all of them proved their worth and qualified as EFR Instructors.

For Matt and Kyla this really is the end of their current journey with Downbelow, whilst Sam stayed on, aiming for our next IDC in February.

Good luck to Matt and Kyla, we hope to see you back again when you further your professional diving education.
