IDC logistics couldn’t be made any simpler!

PADI Instructor Missy, and also one of our Go PRO interns, recalls the accessibility of the location for her Instructor Development Course (IDC) as she reminds her student divers on the performance requirements of the first confined water dive session of their PADI Open Water Diver course.

Missy successfully qualified as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor in June after finishing the Instructor Examination (IE) and has been busy teaching since then! She decided to return for another month to enroll on another Go PRO internship program to continue her professional dive education.

Certifying several student divers now, Missy is working her way toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) rating. One of the prerequisites is to certify 25 student divers and be qualified as an Instructor in 5 PADI Specialties.

Our resident Platinum PADI Course Director Richard Swann with the Go PRO team of PADI Instructor Trainers and our other experienced PADI Instructors dedicate themselves to supporting Missy’s professional dive education. One fantastic supportive attribute of our IDC is the accessibility to our interns’ dive training as our facilities are all within close proximity. Our Gaya Island beach house is directly in front of the shore to our House Reef where we conduct the in-water teaching presentations for the IDC! It couldn’t get any simpler to organize the logistics!
