EFRI is a must have certification for PADI Instructors!

Our Go PRO interns didn’t stop their professional education when the PADI Instructor Examination (IE) closed because they must complete the Emergency First Response Instructor (EFRI) course as well to receive the status of PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI)!

PADI Master Instructor and EFRI Trainer Paul, conducts the course on the spacious deck of our Gaya Island beach house, and provides his own experiences of teaching the EFR to benefit his students’ instructional abilities in their future career.

Experience is so valuable for our Go PRO interns to take as much advantage of as possible, and others’ guidance will be the strongest influence on their teaching in the beginning of their professional career. Paul will discuss the linking between the EFRI and other PADI courses and programs, particularly the Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty. As part of our Go PRO internship program to include the IDC, there is further professional development to certify our candidates as Instructors in the Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty and provide a well-rounded dive education!

For further details on our Go PRO internship programs to begin living the diving dream in Borneo, contact our Head Office, where one of our experienced members of staff will organize your individually catered itinerary to Go PRO on Gaya Island!
