Assessing skill performance in Open water.

Resident Platinum PADI Course Director Richard Swann conducts the last open water dive for his students from Camps International to certify them as PADI Open Water Divers!

In the practical dive training for the open water dives, certain skills can be performed by each student diver in the group at the same time, as long as the PADI Instructor believes they have mastered the skill in the confined water dive.

Each skill is already practiced in confined water, which in PADI Standards is defined as any depth up to 5 metres, and after any necessary remediation the student diver will perform the skill without any demonstration from their PADI Instructor.

An approach to teaching used in the Instructor Development Course (IDC), is the remediation of scuba diving skills that the candidates of our GO PRO internships are not confident with. Developing instructional abilities is only possible through valuable experience, which our professional internships include, amongst other attractive benefits!

Get in touch with one of our helpful and experienced Head Office staff. We can arrange a program to suit your individual needs to be remediated by our Go PRO team and prepare you to be a Go PRO diver in exotic and tropical Borneo!
